On June 4, 2026, leading researchers from the “Biotechnika” Institute of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences (NAAS) participated in the International Field Day “Innovations in Agriculture
: Scientific Approaches for Sustainable Development," organized by the Institute of Climate-Oriented Agriculture of the NAAS and the Odessa State Agricultural Research Station of the NAAS at the institution’s experimental fields in the village of Khlibodarske. The event showcased cutting-edge developments from NAAS research institutions and other enterprises in the fields of crop production, crop breeding, the production and use of plant protection and nutrition products, and the application of the latest agricultural technology.
Scientific developments from the NAAS Institute of Biotechnology were presented through technologies for the production and application of microbial preparations for plant protection, as well as the preparations themselves, which have fungicidal, insecticidal, nematicidal, and complex effects. Visitors to the field day had the opportunity to learn about technologies for breeding predatory insects—agents of biological control—and to see samples of the entomological preparations “Brakon,” “Zolotoochka,” and “Chorna Lvynka.”
